The traditional tool used to grind and disperse dry pigments into the binder in the manufacture of artists' paints (tempera, oil paints, watercolors, fresco, etc.). Our mullers are hand-made and sanded with an abrasive to get a flat and rough surface that facilitates grinding. To restore the roughness of your muller, ask us about getting extra abrasive.
