natural dye pigments

Contrary to our other pigments, these stain pigments are soluble in the medium in which they are used (water, alcohol...). This characteristic allows transparencies as opposed to a surface paint effect, therefore they are largely used as stains in wood finishing. Most of these pigments come from natural sources.
