Liquitex freestyle spatulas are made of the finest stainless steel: they are flexible and will resist all wear and corrosion. This allows for the artist to manipulate large amounts of material. In addition, the ergonomically designed handle adds comfort and grip to every application.

It is recommended to mix paints with a paint spatula rather than a brush. This allows for a better control of the mixture and faster mixing. Using the brush to mix colors or pigments will use the brush more rapidly.

The spatula can be used to mix your own paint from dry pigments, but in order to obtain superior results, it is recommended to use a muller.

The spatula is also used to add texture to your painting, if you like to work with thickness; trowels come in different shapes and sizes to create singular finishes.
