How to tube your paint

Making your own paint is a great way to save money and tubing your own paint is a great way to save a lot of time. Your paint will keep much longer in a tube, and you’ll be able to use the colors that you’ve spent time and effort formulating whenever you’re ready to work.

If your paints are tubed well, they can be preserved for a very long time. We also suggest you label your tubes with information about which pigment and materials have been  used and the proportions, also include the date (month and year suffice).  These labels will help you g better understand how the materials you have used will behave in time.

You will need one empty aluminum tube, flexible steel spatulas, canvas pliers and, obviously, your handmade paint.
