Casein paint

Our recipe's proportions are given in volume, so you first have to start by choosing your measuring unit. To guide you, know that, with this recipe, the final quantity of paint will be approximately 10 times the measuring unit you will choose (for example, if you use half of a cup as your measuring unit, the recipe will yield about 5 cups of paint).

You can also choose to vary the proportion of water in this recipe. Reduce the amount of water for a more gelatinous paint or, for a more liquid paint, simply add a bit more water. It is possible to create stains and durable decorative glazes by using more water in the preparation of the casein binder.
