The finished product. Milk paint dries matte, and sometimes it will yield a satin finish. You can keep the casein binder in a refrigerator for 3 to 5 weeks if it has been prepared with lime and even longer if it has been made using ammonium hydrogen carbonate. In any case, you must get rid of the paint if it has started rotting or if it smells like it. |
