Casein paint

After having measured on part of casein powder and transferred it in a glass container, measure an equal part of caustic agent that you will empty in the other container.

We use ammonia hydrogen carbonate for this demonstration because the binder obtained with this will be transparent as opposed to milky white when made with lime.
