How to make oil paint

Incorporate a touch of cold beeswax paste or Rembrandt medium (see painting medium section) if you wish to modify the quality of your oil paint or to make it stiffer. The texture of the paint will then transform to be more buttery. Moreover, a wax medium will contribute to added flexibility of the paint film over time.
